Tuition + Financing : Live Oak cultivates a student body that reflects the socioeconomic diversity of the Bay Area. Financing options are available for tuition payment. Families with moderate or high need are encouraged to apply for tuition assistance.

Lower School K-5: $21,150

Middle School 6-8: $21,600

Refundable Deposits

Capital Deposit: $1,000 paid in each of the first three years of attendance and returned upon leaving the school. Work Deposit: $500 returned at the end of each school year if parent work hours have been fulfilled. For more information about parent work hours see Our School > Parent Participation.

Financing Options

A 10% non-refundable deposit is due March 1 for the upcoming academic year. An additional 10% is due on June 1, with the remaining balance due August 1. Credit card payment is accepted with a 3% fee. We also offer two payment options for the balance: 1. Three payments due May 1, August 1 and November 1; 2. Nine payments due monthly April 1 through December 1. Both options require an automatic checking account deduction which incurs a 1% fee. Tuition Refund Insurance (2.6% of tuition) is also required for either option.

Financial Aid

Families with a moderate or high need are encouraged to apply for financial aid through Live Oak's tuition assistance program. Currently, 25 percent of Live Oak families receive financial aid. Awards range from 10% to 75% of total tuition costs; award levels are based on the School and Student Service for Financial Aid's determination of need.
