Save the Date: Camp Live Oak - May 29-31, 2024

Mark your calendars for Camp Live Oak! It is our marquee community event of the year. We will be back at Camp Jones Gulch this year, with the whole school together. The entire school community (parents and guardians, teachers, staff, administrators, and students) comes together for this event. This annual trip is one of Live Oak's core community events. Similar to a field trip, students will spend time with their classes and teachers engaging in various activities and taking on new challenges.
With the scent of popcorn, hot apple cider, freshly brewed coffee, and the sounds of nature providing the backdrop, students enjoy communal meals, sleeping in cabins with classmates, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures. Parent volunteers support the entire effort.

Stay tuned for details about Camp Live Oak, including volunteering (it takes a village), lodging, parent activities, packing, and more.

Please note: Camp Live Oak is considered school days for the students, so missing camp is considered an absence from school.

Kindergarten parents: please mark your calendars for the K Roundtable on February 1, 2024, which will include a discussion about the Camp experience.

Camp Live Oak is one of the many experiences that enrich our students' learning and build community at Live Oak.
