Culture of Giving
At Live Oak, we practice philanthropy because we know that every act of generosity benefits each member of our community. Every year, generous donations allow Live Oak’s diverse student body to experience an excellent educational program.
To ensure that Live Oak’s values are reflected in our fundraising practices, we ask for gifts just once a year. This approach allows all families to plan and participate at a level that works best for them.
Philanthropic contributions to Live Oak have been transformational to our school. Generous participation in our annual Live Oak Fund supports student programs, professional development for our faculty, and our Adjusted Tuition Program. Gifts to the Live Oak Endowment support the school in perpetuity, funding strategic priorities and strengthening the school’s financial model. Scholarship gifts have offset the cost of tuition for families who couldn’t otherwise afford a Live Oak education. Contributions to capital fundraising projects enabled our move to Mariposa Street, the building of our gym, and continued classroom and building upgrades. We are grateful to our community for their generosity and willingness to support the ongoing growth and excellence of Live Oak School.
