Lightning Win First Three Games of New Year

Live Oak’s basketball teams started 2025 on a positive note by winning each of their first three contests in January. Read this week's results below. 
The sixth grade JV White started it off as Jamieson and Renly made big shots down the stretch to help the Lightning earn their second victory of the season, a 33-30 win over KIPP Bayview this past Tuesday. After that, Connell led the way with 10 points and Eddie added seven points to help the seventh grade JV White team improve to 2-0 on the season with their 44-3 win over Synergy on Wednesday. Then, the JV girls followed that up with Nieve leading the team in scoring with nine points and Shoshi adding six of her own en route to the 27-14 win over Synergy to post their third win on the season.
