Planning for Grandparents & Special Friends Day

Grandparents & Special Friends Day is right around the corner on May 9! This event gives grandparents and special friends an opportunity to visit the school and spend time in the classroom. Live Oak will mail invitations to grandparents and special friends around Spring Break, so it is important to fill out this contact form for any new contacts or anyone that has had a change of address in the last year. Read more about the day below.
If you have family in the area or visiting, this is a great time for them to share in the joy of Live Oak. If your family and friends cannot attend in person, Virginia will be holding a Virtual Tea on May 8.

Please remind your students' guests to RSVP for Grandparents and Special Friends Day or the Virtual Tea.

How can parents and guardians help? Volunteers are needed for registration, merch sales, tours, greeters, and more. Due to capacity considerations, seating is prioritized for grandparents and special guests. Volunteering is a great way for parents and guardians to experience the day. Sign up here for all volunteer roles. Please direct questions to Jackie Higuchi, jackieduda@me.com.
