Celebrating Our Graduates at Step Up & Graduation

By: Virginia Paik, Head of School
The traditions of Live Oak reinforce the values that give meaning and purpose to our school community. Please join us at 10am on Wednesday, June 5, on Mariposa Street for Live Oak’s Step Up and Graduation Ceremony and participate in our tradition of reflection, celebration, and appreciation.
All of our students have grown in significant ways this year and they will all have a role in the event! Our kindergarten through seventh graders will serenade our graduates. Our eighth graders will be honored for their achievements. A graduate from the class of 2020 will grace us with wisdom and a teacher will send us off with a lasting lesson. We will all laugh and dance and cheer in the company of memories, stories, and our kilted musician. Some may even cry!

Afterward, we invite you to join fellow Live Oak families and staff for a Post Step Up Picnic at Jackson Park. We’ll picnic and play together. Check your inbox for an evite to order a pizza lunch and opportunities to volunteer at the event.

We will welcome any volunteers who are interested in setting up at 8:30am or cleaning up when the ceremony is done!
