Camp Live Oak - May 28-30, 2025 – Mark your calendars!

Camp Live Oak is an annual end-of-year, community camping trip taking place among the redwoods in the scenic Santa Cruz mountains. With the support of teachers, staff, administrators, YMCA staff, and parents and guardians, students take on new challenges from sleeping in cabins with classmates, rock climbing, zip-lining, hiking, participating in the early morning polar bear swim, and performing in a talent show. In a peaceful outdoor setting, students enjoy communal meals, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, singing camp songs, and spending time journaling and reflecting on another year of growth and learning.
Camp is one of Live Oak's most memorable all-school events and is made possible by the participation of everyone in our community. Stay tuned for details in upcoming newsletters, including volunteering, lodging, parent activities, packing lists, and more.

Kindergarten parents: Stay tuned for information about the Winter/Spring Roundtable taking place on February 26, which will include a discussion about the Camp experience.
